Ring Sizing

Getting the right fit is essential for comfort and security. We use an alphabetical sizing system, here is how to measure yourself and find your size.

How to Measure Your Finger

1. The String Method (DIY)

  • Cut a thin strip of paper or non-stretch string (about 10cm long x 1.5cm wide).
  • Wrap it around the base of the finger you intend to wear the ring on.
  • Ensure it feels snug but can slide over your knuckle comfortably.
  • Mark where the ends overlap.
  • Measure the length in millimeters (mm) with a ruler.
  • Match this measurement to the "Circumference" column in the chart below to find the corresponding letter in the "Size" column.

2. Measure an Existing Ring

  • Place a ring that fits you well on a ruler.
  • Measure the inner diameter (inside edge to inside edge) in millimeters.
  • Match this measurement to the "Inner Diameter" column in the chart below to find the corresponding letter in the "Size" column.

Tip: Measure your finger at the end of the day when fingers are warm and at their largest. Avoid measuring when your hands are cold, as fingers shrink.

Note: If your measurement falls between two sizes, we recommend sizing up.

Important Fit Considerations

Knuckles Matter

If your knuckle is significantly larger than the base of your finger, measure both. The ring must be large enough to slide over the knuckle comfortably but snug enough not to spin freely at the base.

Width Affects Fit

All DBJ rings are designed as substantial, wide bands. This means they fit differently than thin rings. If your knuckle is noticeably larger than your finger base, or if you prefer a looser fit, consider sizing up by half a size for comfort.

Temperature Changes

Fingers expand in heat and contract in cold. Always measure when your hands are at normal body temperature.
