Materials & Care

Solid Precious Metals

We use only solid Sterling Silver and solid Gold. No plating, no vermeil, no base metals.

This ensures every piece is not just a timeless work of wearable art, but a tangible investment in precious metal. As the intrinsic value of silver and gold fluctuates and grows over time, your piece holds its worth alongside its craftsmanship.

Sterling Silver (925)

A classic precious metal, 92.5% pure silver mixed with a small amount of alloy for strength and durability. It has a bright, white lustre that develops a soft warmth over time.

9ct Yellow Gold

A practical and durable gold option, containing 37.5% pure gold blended with alloys. It offers the warmth of gold at an accessible price point, designed for everyday wear.

18ct Yellow Gold

A rich, warm gold made from 75% pure gold blended with alloys for durability. It retains its colour beautifully and is designed to last a lifetime.

The Living Finish

Many of our pieces feature a deliberate patina in the recessed areas and a satin finish on the high points. This creates depth and contrast, avoiding the glare of a high-shine surface.

A Subtle Reflection

Over time, both the patina and the surface will evolve. The darkened areas may deepen or soften, while the satin finish will settle and gain depth through natural wear. This isn't a flaw — it's part of the character. Much like quality leather that develops a unique richness, your piece will tell a story unique to you.

We embrace this evolution. It's what makes each piece distinctly yours.

Daily Care

Our pieces are designed for everyday wear, but a little care ensures they last a lifetime.

Wear It Often

Natural skin oils help maintain the finish and keep the metal lustrous.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals

Remove your jewellery before swimming (chlorine), cleaning (bleach/ammonia), or applying perfumes and lotions. These can dull the finish or damage the patina.

Shower & Bath

It's best to avoid wearing your jewellery in the shower. Soap, shampoo, and hard water can cause build-up and dull the metal over time.

Cleaning

  • General Maintenance: For daily upkeep, simply wipe with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove oils and dust.
  • Deeper Clean:
    • Gold: Mix warm water with mild dish soap. Soak briefly, gently scrub with a soft brush, rinse thoroughly, and dry with a soft cloth.
    • Silver: Use a silver polishing cloth for tarnish. For a deeper clean, use warm water and mild soap, gently scrub with a soft brush, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
  • Important: Never polish the dark, recessed areas. This will remove the patina finish.

Storage

Store pieces in a cool, dry place, ideally in a soft pouch or a box with separate compartments. This prevents scratching and tangling. When travelling, use a dedicated case with individual slots and keep valuables in your carry-on.
