DBJ Vault Membership Terms

1. Overview

Welcome to the DBJ Vault ("Program"). These Terms ("Membership Terms") govern your access to and participation in the DBJ Vault. The DBJ Vault is an exclusive tier for verified owners of DBJ Limited Edition pieces (specifically rings, cuffs, and pendants). DBJ chains are not considered Limited Edition and do not qualify for membership.

2. Eligibility & Verification

  • Ownership Requirement: To join the DBJ Vault, you must currently own at least one DBJ Limited Edition piece.
  • Verification: Membership is granted only after successful verification of your Limited Edition piece. Verification may require submission of proof of purchase, piece number, or photos of the piece. DBJ reserves the right to reject applications where ownership cannot be substantiated.
  • One Account Per Collector: Membership is limited to one account per individual. Accounts may not be shared, transferred, or sold.
  • Age: You must be at least 18 years of age to join.

3. Membership Benefits

Benefits are determined by DBJ in its sole discretion and may include:

  • Priority Access to Every Drop: Early notification and a dedicated purchasing window for new DBJ releases before they are available to the public.
  • Exclusive "Vault-Only" Releases: Access to designs reserved solely for members that will never be offered to the general public as new items.
  • Appreciation in Rarity: Access to information and opportunities to acquire pieces that appreciate in value due to their limited nature and solid precious metal composition.
  • Official Authentication Service: The right to request official authentication and provenance verification for DBJ pieces for the purpose of resale or purchase on the secondary market.
  • Lifetime Maintenance & Care: Complimentary professional cleaning, polishing, and rejuvenation services for your DBJ pieces.

Note: Benefits are non-transferable and have no cash value. DBJ reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any specific benefit at any time without prior notice.

4. Authentication & Provenance

  • Scope: The Authentication Service is available only to active Vault members.
  • Process: DBJ will verify the authenticity and provenance of a piece upon request. This service is intended to protect the value of the asset and the integrity of the secondary market.
  • Limitations: Authentication does not guarantee a specific resale price. DBJ is not a broker and does not facilitate the sale of pre-owned items, though we may provide a certificate of authenticity to assist the member in their private transaction.
  • Fees: This service is complimentary for Vault members. DBJ reserves the right to charge a fee for authentication requests from non-members or for pieces not verified as DBJ Limited Editions.

5. Lifetime Maintenance & Care

  • Eligibility: Complimentary cleaning, polishing, and rejuvenation services are available only to active Vault members for pieces they currently own.
  • Condition: Members are encouraged to maintain the natural patina of their pieces. Rejuvenation is an optional service to restore the original finish. DBJ is not liable for any changes in aesthetic preference resulting from the service.
  • Shipping: Members are responsible for shipping costs to and from DBJ for maintenance services, unless otherwise specified.
  • Damage: DBJ will exercise reasonable care during maintenance. However, DBJ is not liable for pre-existing damage, wear, or loss of value due to the natural aging process of the metal.

6. Changes to the Program

DBJ reserves the right to update, modify, or terminate the DBJ Vault program, including its benefits and eligibility criteria, at any time.

  • Notice: Material changes will be communicated via email to registered members.
  • Continued Use: Continued participation in the program after changes are announced constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

7. Termination of Membership

DBJ reserves the right to terminate your membership immediately, without notice, if:

  • You no longer own a DBJ Limited Edition piece.
  • You attempt to sell, transfer, or share your membership privileges.
  • You engage in fraudulent activity, including the submission of false proof of ownership.
  • You violate these Terms or the broader DBJ Terms of Service.

Upon termination, all benefits (including access to exclusive drops and authentication services) will cease immediately.

8. No Resale Guarantee

Participation in the DBJ Vault does not guarantee that any piece will increase in value or be profitable on the secondary market. All investments carry risk. The value of your piece is influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the market price of silver or gold, which may fluctuate or decline at any time. DBJ makes no representations or warranties regarding the future market value of any piece, whether based on rarity, craftsmanship, or the intrinsic value of the precious metals used.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong.
